Chris graduated in Physiotherapy from Keele University in 2005. After qualifying he soon found an interest for treating musculoskeletal complaints, in particular back pain and sciatica.

He worked at Dudley Group of Hospitals as the Clinical Lead Physiotherapist for Spinal Rehabilitation until 2014 and worked as a specialist physiotherapist within their prestigious Pain Management Team in Dr Kapur’s multidisciplinary clinic. In 2013 Chris started working part time as an Extended Scope Practitioner in the Back Pain Clinic at Kidderminster hospital whilst also remaining in his clinical lead role at Dudley.

He then moved to the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in 2014 to work full time as a member of the Musculoskeletal Medicine Service and he currently enjoys working in the Back Pain Clinic, Dr Brown’s Musculoskeletal Clinic and also in Mr Rehousek’s Neurosurgical Clinic. Through these experiences Chris is well placed to offer advice regarding both conservative and surgical management of spinal complaints.

Chris is currently finishing his studying for a Masters degree at Keele University and being a keen golfer himself, is writing his dissertation on low back pain incidence in recreational club golfers.
