Wendy Field qualified as a physiotherapist in 1990 and went on to work at St Helens and Knowsley NHS Trust where she developed an interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy. She became a member of the Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MACP) in 1998 and subsequently became involved in Clinical teaching and examining physiotherapists on Masters degrees in musculoskeletal physiotherapy.

 

In 2001 she moved to the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital and was instrumental in developing the Back Pain Clinic. She now works within the Back Pain Clinic and in outreach clinics in Worcester with the Spinal Surgeons.
