Yvonne qualified as a Physiotherapist in 1995 in Amsterdam and has worked in the UK since 1996. She has worked in Good Hope Hospital from 1997 to 2001 and joined The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital Foundation Trust in 2001, where she further developed her skills in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy as a Senior I Physiotherapist in charge of the Out Patients Department. Yvonne specialised in the Assessment and Treatment of Low Back Pain and spinal conditions and has worked as an Extended Scope Practitioner in the back Pain Clinic since 2004.

 

She has been involved in the training of Extended Scope Practitioners working in the Community and has a clinic once a fortnight in Woodgate Valley. She works closely with the Consultant Spinal Surgeon Mr Stirling and often sees his patients’ pre operatively and post operatively. She also works alongside the Orthopaedic Physician Dr Ketkar for the non-surgical management of various spinal conditions. Yvonne has gained a Post Graduate Diploma in Neuromusculoskeletal Healthcare at Keele University in 2011.
