The Communications Department/Press Office only deals with enquiries from journalists. We are unable to offer medical advice to members of the public. If you need advice please ring 111 or visit your GP. If it is a life threatening situation, then ring 999.

In respect of our patients, we adhere to the strictest confidentiality. We will not divulge any information about a patient unless we are given permission by the individual or their next of kin. Requests for interviewing/photographing patients must be made through the Communications Department/Press Office.
Under no circumstances may interviews, filming or photography be carried out on or around the hospital sites without the express permission of the Communications Department. If you need further information, or would like to arrange an interview with a member of staff, please contact us.
Condition checks will only be given out if you have the name of the individual patient concerned. Please do not contact the wards direct.
