Marcus Green

Mr Green is an Orthopaedic Consultant at the Royal Orthopaedic NHS Trust.

He qualified at Birmingham University in 1987. He gained his specialist training at University Hospitals Birmingham and began working at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust in 1999.

Mr Green specialises in knee and shoulder pathology and performs both arthroplasty (joint replacement) and arthroscopy (keyhole surgery) on both these areas of the body. Mr Green performs between 150 and 200 joint replacements of knee or shoulder each year including partial knee replacements and shoulder resurfacing. He also perform significant quantities of arthroscopic surgery again of the knee and shoulder including rotator cuff repairs of the shoulder and ligament reconstruction of the knee.

Mr Green co-founded the Birmingham Knee and shoulder clinic based at the Priory Hospital a private clinic dedicated to treating patients with problems of the knee and shoulder.
