Rescheduling procedures update
Due to a fault in the boiler system that supports six of our operating theatres, we have unfortunately been forced to reschedule some procedures. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience or concern this may cause. Our teams are working hard to find new surgical dates for anyone affected. They are ringing patients directly.
What is the issue?
We discovered a fault in our boiler system late on Wednesday 29 January. The work to fix it will be completed on Friday 30 January, and normal operations will resume on Saturday 31 January.
Which procedures are being rescheduled?
Cases planned in the impacted theatres will be rescheduled.
Will my procedure be cancelled?
- We are directly contacting every patient affected by this issue
- We will reschedule the date of your procedure for the earliest possible time
- You will be prioritised and will not be placed lower on the waiting list
