Sarah O'Connor

Sarah O'Connor BSc (Hons), MRCPod, HCPC Registered.

Sarah Qualified from the University of Northampton with a BSc (Hons) degree in Podiatry in 2004. Prior to joining the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital Sarah worked at Sandwell & West Birminham Hospital trust where she helped to develop the community Podiatry MSK service. 

During this period Sarah also qualified as an Independent prescriber and predomiently worked within the Rheumatology foot team where she obtained extensive experience in gait analysis and biomechanics of the foot and ankle. This was utilised to deliver Individualised care in the form of custom orthotics, injection therapy and shockwave therapy for the conservative management of foot and ankle pathologies and the at risk foot.

Sarah now continues to develop and implement these skills to provide care here at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital since joining in May 2021.
