He holds a broad surgical background in plastics and microsurgery, complemented by advanced qualifications in hand surgery and a PhD. 

Mr Malone’s expertise covers a wide range of conditions, including nerve injury, brachial plexus disorders, nerve tumours, and spasticity

He is also active in clinical research and training, contributing to national efforts to improve outcomes in peripheral nerve surgery.
