The management of young osteoarthritic knees is his special interest with procedures such as tibial and femoral osteotomy, articular cartilage repair surgery and unicompartmental knee replacements. He also gained experience in patella realignment procedures including patelo-femoral ligament reconstructions.

Mr Hussain has performed mini incision total knee replacements as well as complex primary and revision knee arthroplasty surgery. He works closely with sports physiotherapists to deal with sports injuries.
