Mr Baloch is a Trauma and Orthopaedic Consultant at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust.
He qualified at Manchester University in 1986. He gained his specialist training Birmingham and began working at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust in 2001.
Mr Baloch specialises in disorders of the knee joint. He carries out arthroscopic surgery of the knee joint including meniscal surgery, articular cartilage surgery and anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. He also carries out more complex multi-ligamentous surgery of the knee joint.
He regularly performs knee replacement surgery including total knee replacement, partial knee replacement and revision knee surgery.
Mr Baloch is also a clinical tutor at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital and is involved in training junior doctors. He is also the Director of the Birmingham Orthopaedic training programme and organise the teaching and training of more than 40 orthopaedic trainees around the West Midlands. He sits on various training committees around the West Midlands.
