After completing his undergraduate degree in Sport & Exercise Science at Loughborough University in 2011 Scott went on to undertake his pre-registration Masters in Physiotherapy at the University of Birmingham, graduating in 2013 with distinction.
Scott has worked spent the majority of his career working within physiotherapy outpatient departments in both NHS and private settings, specialising in injury rehabilitation but has also gained experience within trauma clinics and pain management services helping to broaden his clinical experience and knowledge base. He spent 2 years working within sport, including European tours, as lead physiotherapist working within American Football.
He completed the Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner programme at the ROH in 2023 and has been working as a fully qualified Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner since this time. He gained experience working within both APP and surgical clinics in addition to acquiring skills such as joint injections, imaging requests, bloods and onward referrals for guided injections.
Scott is a keen sports person and enjoys keeping fit, playing rugby and doing Crossfit regularly.
Scott currently works across a range of clinics whilst also continuing with a physiotherapy caseload. He works in both the Knee & Shoulder and Spinal MSK clinics in addition to partaking in the PatelloFemoral multidisciplinary clinic with consultant surgeons from both the Royal Orthopaedic and Queen Elizabeth Hospitals for complex patients with patellofemoral issues. He also works within primary care as a first contact practitioner seeing patients with undiagnosed musculoskeletal issues within a GP practice.
In addition to his clinical case load Scott works as a visiting lecturer to physiotherapy university students and has provided teaching and training for colleagues within primary and secondary care, culminating in him presenting at a national conference this year.
