Vineet Kurisunkal

Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon

Mr. Vineet Kurisunkal is an orthopaedic oncologist who specialises in the treatment of benign & malignant bone and soft tissue tumours (sarcoma) and metastatic bone disease.

He completed his undergraduate and postgraduate orthopaedic training in India. He undertook his specialist fellowship training in orthopaedic oncology under Professor Ajay Puri and Professor Ashish Gulia at the prestigious Tata Memorial Centre, Mumbai, India, with one of the largest sarcoma centres in the world. He underwent further specialist training in navigation assisted pelvis and sacral sarcoma surgeries at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, Birmingham, certified by the Royal College of Surgeons, England.

He has authored a number of papers in the world's most important orthopaedic journals and has written book chapters on sarcomas in various textbooks. He continues to develop his research interest in orthopaedic oncology which he presents at national and international conferences.
