Mr Gaffey is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust.

He studied in Leicester, Glasgow, Derby, Manchester and Northampton and was a registrar in Birmingham. He and attended his fellowship training in Kurgan, Russia and Melbourne, Australia and began working at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in 2009. 

Mr Gaffey specialises in the correction of long bone deformity with external fixators.

He is involved in the University or Warwickshire MSc course in orthopaedics and trauma.
