Mr Bache is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust.
He qualified at Birmingham University in 1990. He gained his specialist training in the West Midlands training programme where he developed an interest in children's orthopaedics. He spent a year at The Royal Children's Hospital Melbourne. Mr Bache was appointed as consultant to Birmingham Children's hospital and The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in 2003.
Mr Bache specialises in disorders affecting the young adult hip and sport related hip disease.
He has an active interest in research and developing new techniques and has published more than 20 articles in peer reviewed journals and has edited a text book on children's fractures. He is a member of the British Society for Children's Orthopaedic Surgery.
