Rest of England and Wales constituency
Some time ago, Rob had a bad accident and believes that the continuing care and attention received at The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital has been unsurpassed. Rob says: "if it was not for the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, my life would not be as it is now."
Being a Governor at The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital is an opportunity to give something back to further improve services at The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital.
Prior to the accident, Rob was an Electrical Engineer, working mainly in industry, carrying out new installations of power distribution and breakdowns of all manner of equipment. Therefore, Rob is conversant with budgeting and costing and have also have a good knowledge of accounting and good interpersonal skills. At a later stage of my career, I taught at a local F.E. College, Electrical Installation Testing and Numeracy.
