Mr Jones is a Consultant Spinal Surgeon at The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust and Birmingham Children's Hospital.
He gained his medical degree from the University of Manchester. He also holds a BSc degree from Imperial College of Science, Technology & Medicine, London and a Master’s degree from the University of Manchester.
Mr Jones has undertaken advanced spinal surgical fellowships training with Professor Ken Cheung (Hong Kong), Professor Ralph Mobbs (Sydney), Professor Robert Dunn (Cape Town) as well as specialist spinal fellowship training in Sheffield and Birmingham in the United Kingdom. He was awarded AOSpine and British Orthopaedic Association travelling fellowships during his training. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, a member of AOSpine, the British Association of Spinal Surgeons and the Paediatric Spine Study Group.
Mr Jones specializes in treating a wide range of spinal problems in adults and children, including scoliosis treatments, as well as common back conditions of the lumbar, thoracic and cervical spine in adults.
