What is a Community Appointment Day?

You’ve been invited to the Community Appointment Day as you are on the waiting list for physiotherapy treatment at the ROH.

Your appointment at the Community Appointment Day forms part of your treatment plan - so it's important to attend. It is an opportunity for you to receive support to help you 'wait well' while you wait for a Physiotherapy appointment.

On the day you will meet Physiotherapists from ROH, as well as representatives from community and voluntary organisations.

The day will be an opportunity for you to discuss “what matters to you”, so you are set up to receive the most appropriate treatment for you. You’ll be able to speak with clinicians, get advice, get help with rehabilitation treatment, get access to health and wellbeing services and access one-to-one assessments or support groups if needed.

What you can expect from your appointment

You will be given an appointment time for the day, however there is no time limit on how long you spend with us.

During the day you will speak with members of the team and be able to talk about your problem as well as what matters for you and your recovery.

You will visit various stations and speak to staff with different specialisms.
