“Being Polish is rooted in me. Poland is my home, but England is also home. I believe the two cultures can come together.”
Marta, originally from the Krakow region of Poland, started her journey at ROH as a Student Pharmacy Technician in 2020. She loves working at the Trust and has learned a lot since joining, fully qualifying as a Pharmacy Technician in 2022.
She is proud to be one link in the chain of a patient’s journey and prides herself on doing her part to ensure the patient experience at ROH is a positive and safe one. It’s rewarding for Marta to know that her work plays an important role in supporting patient health and recovery.
Marta is a member of a traditional Polish folklore dancing group – the vibrant traditional attire worn during performances holds a special place in her heart, symbolising her Polish heritage and the influences that have shaped her identity.
