As we reflect upon the death of her majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, many will feel a profound sense of loss. For many, she was a figurehead, representing our national identity. For 70 years she faithfully embodied those parts of us of which we are proudest; our dignity and duty, our quiet strength and certitude.

As a royal institution, our history is woven with the history of the Royal Family. It is, therefore, right that we recognise the incredible life and contribution of the Queen.

The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital pays tribute to Queen Elizabeth II, her dedication and the tireless work she undertook across the UK and Commonwealth.
