Patient Support
We have a range of resources and support to help patients prepare for and recover from surgery. A free health and wellbeing guide is available to print directly.
Support while waiting for surgery
The pandemic has meant that many operations and procedures have been postponed. Some people are waiting longer for surgery and other treatments. There are things you can do to help manage your physical and mental wellbeing while you’re waiting. Even small changes can make a big difference.
My Planned Care provides advice and support while waiting for surgery and helps people prepare for hospital consultation, treatment, or surgery. This includes information about waiting times and other supporting and local services.
Patient information about our services can be found on our services and information page.
