Come spend the day with Sue, a Physiotherapist with The Royal Orthopaedic Community Scheme (ROCS). The team provides care for patients at home following orthopaedic surgery
The ROCS team cover a radius of 25 miles from the hospital and work closely with Infection Services to deliver complex care in the community.
The interdisciplinary team is made up of nurses, physiotherapists, technical instructors and administrative staff, providing post-discharge assessment and care, physiotherapy assessments, complex wound care, I-V antibiotics for bone infection patients and a phlebotomy service for those on oral antibiotics.
