A new identity for the Trust Charity

Introducing ROC: the Royal Orthopaedic Charity.
New identity, same mission!

The Royal Orthopaedic Charity (ROC) supports life-changing care at The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, whether that’s funding the latest technology, supporting research, or helping patients to have the best experience of care.

The charity has been renamed ROC, Royal Orthopaedic Charity, and given a fresh new identity to reflect the dynamic and life-changing work they support. The new brand was developed using the feedback of patients and local people; with bright colours and modern lines, the new identity reflects the charity today, and helps ROC stand out as they raise vital funds to support the hospital.

Ali Sprason, Charity Manager at ROC, said: “We were formerly called ‘The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital Charitable Fund’, which is a bit of a mouthful! So, we’ve undergone a transformation. A new name, a new brand, but the same important mission; to support life-changing care at Birmingham’s Royal Orthopaedic Hospital.

Could you be a ROCstar?

ROC are now calling for ambassadors, or ROCstars, to get involved raising money for the Charity and help to spread the word. The ROC team will be on hand with fundraising tips and advice, support setting up your fundraising pages and drumming up support.

ROC has helped to fund many important things at the hospital, including research laboratories, care packs for oncology patients, staff training, facilities for children and young people and improvements in the hospital environment to support people with dementia.
