Matthew Hartland has started his role as Interim Chief Executive at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust

The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (ROH) is pleased to welcome Matthew Hartland as Interim Chief Executive Officer (CEO) as he starts his new role this week.

 

As CEO Matthew will continue to lead the Trust in delivering a strong performance, high patient and staff satisfaction scores and fostering our values-based culture, which prioritises well-being and compassionate care.

 

Matthew comments: “The ROH is a special hospital with an excellent reputation, and I’m excited to be here in this role to maintain and build on the excellent progress the Trust has made in recent years. I feel privileged to have the opportunity continue this improvement here at ROH.

 

“I’m looking forward to using my experience across the health sector to lead the Trust through this interim period, focusing on maintaining high-quality care and positive performance ultimately so patients can continue to receive life-changing care.”

Matthew joins the ROH at the beginning of Health and Wellbeing week and supported Engagement and Wellbeing Officer, Laura Tilley-Hood with the Wellbeing Trolley, a highlight of the week for staff.
