Prestigious research fellowship awarded to ROH clinicians (Pulished 05 April 2019)

Two clinicians from The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital have been recognised for their outstanding contribution to clinical work.

Dr Egidio J da Silva and Dr Biju Peringathara were awarded a ‘Fellowship of the faculty of intensive care medicine’ (FFICM). This fellowship recognises the contribution made by NHS Clinicians based on relevant clinical work and practice.

These fellowships are particularly important because they are awarded to clinicians who undertake relevant clinical work and practice alongside their day job - rather than clinical academics. The fellowship confers a number of rights and privileges and is an estimable achievement.

Dr Da Silva and Dr Peringathara both practice at The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, a world class centre of excellence and research.

We would like to offer them our congratulations!
