ROH is going on the road to help your muscle and joint pain

Experts from Birmingham’s Royal Orthopaedic Hospital are going on the road in April, ready to speak to you about how you can help ease your muscle and joint pain.

From 28-30 April 2025, Nurses, Physiotherapists and Doctors from The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital will be visiting locations around Birmingham in a big red bus, ready to give free advice to help you with pain you may be experiencing in your knees, hips, shoulders or lower back.

Visit us from 10am-3pm at:

Monday 28 April – Small Heath Morrisons

Tuesday 29th April – Tays Corner in Northfield

Wednesday 30 April – Edgbaston Street in Birmingham city centre

The aim of going on the road is to give local communities the opportunity to speak to a range of professionals from ROH physiotherapists to Versus Arthritis, Birmingham Public Health @ BCC, Citizens Advice Birmingham and Birmingham and Solihull ICB.

Dave Rogers, MSK Physiotherapist at The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital said: “A team of colleagues will be on hand to speak to members of the public about muscle and joint pain they may be experiencing, and ways that they can stay fit and healthy for longer.

“We’ll be showing members of the public exercises they can do, free apps they can download, and giving them wellbeing advice. While we are out and about, we’d love to hear what people would like to see from their NHS physiotherapy services and how they would like services to be delivered too in their local communities.”
