Bone Cement Supply Update
A national bone cement shortage has caused some disruption across parts of the NHS. The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital is currently in a secure position with adequate stock. Please attend your appointment as normal. We will contact you directly if your procedure is affected.
At Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, we are aware of the current national shortage of bone cement affecting some hospitals across the UK.
We would like to reassure our patients that, at present, our services are not affected and planned procedures are continuing as normal. We are monitoring the situation closely.
