Jo Williams shortlisted at the Inclusive Awards

The 2024 Inclusive Awards, organised by Inclusive Companies, has announced the finalists across eight categories. Highlighting outstanding individuals and exceptional organisations working tirelessly to remove barriers and put diversity and inclusion at the very heart of everything they do, the Inclusive Awards is now in its 10th year.

Jo Williams, CEO of the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital and who will be Interim CEO of The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust, has been shortlisted as Chief Executive of the Year.

Jo said: “It’s such a privilege to be shortlisted amongst some incredible inclusive leaders. Being recognised in this list is very special knowing we all value the importance of diversity and inclusion. Best of luck to all the nominees!”

Winners will be announced on November 28, 2024 at The Midland Hotel Manchester.

“Looking back over the last 10 years since our first Inclusive Awards event, we have come a long way in terms of the policies and practices being implemented to achieve diversity, inclusion and equity,” says Paul Sesay, CEO of Inclusive Companies. “Every year, I am both humbled and inspired as we present awards to brave individuals and truly committed management teams in recognition of them putting diversity and inclusion at the very heart of all they do.

“Despite 10 years of celebrating such organisations and individuals, there is still more work to be done to drive home the diversity and inclusion message to all employers,” continues Paul. “I firmly believe that by celebrating our winners’ outstanding work and achievements, the Inclusive Awards will continue to encourage others to follow their example and inspire lasting change.”
