Loft25 delivers surgical gowns and overalls to Royal Orthopaedic

Loft25, a leading UK manufacturer in soft home and garden furnishing, have launched a campaign to help the NHS.

With the support of almost 1,000 volunteers, Loft25 have produced protective coveralls for heroic medical staff and other frontline workers in Birmingham. The big operation has been overseen by Welfare Team volunteers from Green Lane Masjid & Community Centre (GLMCC).

Surgeon Mr Akash Sharma, from The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital (ROH), arranged for 200 surgical gowns and 200 overalls to be delivered to the Trust. Mr Sharma said: “This is a fantastic project and we’re overwhelmed by the generosity of Loft25 and the volunteers who have made this possible.

"It’s inspiring to see communities coming together to support frontline staff as they battle this virus.”

A huge thank you from everyone at ROH for this amazing generosity.
