Who Should I Contact?  

Wound or Dressing Concerns 
If you have any concerns regarding your wound or problems with your dressings, please contact the secretary of your surgeon to make an appointment.  

Splint or Hand Therapy Concerns (ROH Patients) 
If you are currently receiving hand therapy at the ROH and have concerns regarding your splint or therapy programme, please contact the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham (QEHB) Upper Limb Team. 

College Green Physiotherapy Service  
If your hand therapy has been transferred to the College Green Physiotherapy Service, please contact them directly using the number listed for College Green Physiotherapy service. 

Telephone lines for College Green are open:  
Monday to Thursday: 07:30 – 20:00  
Friday: 07:30 – 20:00  
Please note:  There is no answerphone service.  Telephone lines are not staffed on Saturdays, Sundays or Bank Holidays.  

Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham (QEHB) Hand Therapy Service  
If you have been referred to the hand therapy service at QEHB and need to contact the team, please use the QEHB Upper Limb Team number above. 

Telephone lines are open: 
Monday to Wednesday: 08:00 – 15:30  
Thursday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00  

Appointment Information 

Your recovery is important to us, and we want you to feel well supported throughout your treatment. If you have any questions, concerns, or need to speak with a member of the team, please use the relevant contact numbers for the most appropriate department.

If you are unable to attend an appointment, or if you have any concerns about your treatment, please let the relevant department know as soon as possible. Keeping us informed allows us to support you, rearrange your appointment where appropriate, and help keep your recovery on track.

Important Information

If you have been transferred to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham (QEHB) or College Green and have not been contacted regarded your hand therapy appointment, please call the relevant department.   

If you have been transferred to a local hospital and have not received an appointment within 3 weeks, please contact the QEHB Upper Limb Team. 

Your treatment is a partnership between you and your healthcare team. Attending your appointments and following your treatment plan gives you the best opportunity to achieve a successful outcome. Missing appointments or delays in treatment may affect your recovery and could lead to a less favourable outcome following your surgery.
